What personal data does www.suikido.com collect.
Personal information here covers all information that can be used to identify a person, including, but not limited to, the person's first and last name, private address or other physical address, email address or other contact information, regardless of whether they relate to the person's private residence or workplace.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

As a general rule, you can access the website without telling us who you are or otherwise providing personal information about yourself. www.suikido.com needs certain personal data in order to deliver services to customers.

Personal information is all kinds of information that can be attributed to you to one extent or another. When you use our website, we collect and process a number of such information. This happens e.g. by general access to content if you sign up for our newsletter, book a session, write to us via the contact form or register for one of our events.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA – CONSENT

If you have signed up for the newsletter, you consent to us contacting you by e-mail with newsletters and offers. We process your email address and the information about your purchases with us until it is no longer relevant. In practice, this means until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive e-mails from us.

You can always withdraw your consent. You can do this either by using the link at the bottom of our e-mails or by contacting us at contact@suikido.com and stating that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters and offers.

INFORMATION

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you give explicit consent to this yourself and enter the information yourself, the following are also processed: Name, telephone number and e-mail. This will typically be in connection with you writing to us via our contact form, booking a session with us or registering for one of our events.

Data about the individual user's use of the services is not passed on or sold to third parties.

THIRD PARTIES

  • Squarespace

    www.suikido.com collects information through third parties such as Google Analytics, Squarespace form block and Squarespace Analytics. Squarespace has built-in analytics that show us where our users found us and which pages are most visited.

    You can have your data deleted from Squarespace at any time by contacting us at contact@suikido.com

  • Google Analytics

    Data is stored for up to 14 months. Your IP address is masked via a javascript code before Google registers your visit. Data is stored for up to 14 months, after which it is deleted from Google's server. A new visit after the 14 months at www.suikido.com will generate a new registration. Visits within the last 14 months do not renew the period.

    Google Inc. does not disclose this data unless required by law. The privacy terms for Google Analytics are accepted when visiting www.suikido.com and appear at https://policies.google.com/privacy

    The information is for factual purposes and is stored for up to 5 years, cf. the Accounting Act. Collected information is to comply with the Tax Control Act.

PURPOSE

Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when this purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.

  • handling newsletter sign-ups and waiting lists — Squarespace / Google Drive / Google Doc's

We have taken technical and organizational measures against your information being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, degraded etc.

Dissemination of personal data such as name and e-mail etc. will only happen if you consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with sufficient protection.

Squarespace data storage

As with the current law, the GDPR requires certain safeguards to be put in place when personal data is transferred outside the EU. Squarespace is already self-certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield, which allows them to legally transfer personal EU data to US-based data centers. Mailchimp has certified to the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield for this reason.
