MUKHWA'S Ayurvedic digestive spices

Inspiration from "The Living Kitchen" at Suikido Natural Healing Retreat Center

According to the Ayurvedic tradition, MUKHWA'S is a perfect way to end your meal. These spices will lift your digestive fire and help the digestion process.

RECIPE

1 tbsp cardamom seeds (no shell)

1 tablespoon aniseed

1 tbsp fennel seeds

1 tsp turmeric powder

A pinch of Himalayan salt

A little bit of water

HOW TO DO

Toast the seeds in a pan until they are slightly crispy. Meanwhile, put the turmeric powder and Himalayan salt in a small cup and add a little water at a time until you have a thick yellow liquid. Now sprinkle the turmeric water on the seeds on the pan and stir it into the seeds so that they become moist. Now continue to roast on low until the seeds are crisp and dry. Allow them to cool before placing the seeds in a jar.
